Welcome to my website - I hope you enjoy my photos.
I became interested in wildlife photography in early childhood, when my father introduced me to a book by one of the first Victorian wildlife photographers, Cherry Kearton. Thirty years later I finally got round to buying a decent camera, hoping to capture some of the birdlife of the Scottish Highlands. After several years concentrating on bird photography, I have now broadened my perspective and added several galleries reflecting a wider range of subject matter.

July updates:
4th - A festival in Seaton yesterday ended with fireworks. I took a few pictures of them and added six to the Abstract page.
7th - Added a couple of wild Orchids, taken at one of the lovely sand dune nature reserves in Lincolnshire, to the bottom of the Flowers page.
8th - Added five more pictures, taken in Beth Chatto's garden in Essex, to the Flowers page.
11th - Added nine pictures that I took at Burrow Farm Gardens, a wonderful place near Axminster, to the Flowers page. The gardens get better each year and there always seems to be something new to see. Also added a picture of the seed pods of a member of the Alium family. Looks a little like the turrets on a mediaeval castle.
11th - Added the last five flower pictures of the many that I took on holiday in Lincolnshire and Suffolk in June. Also added Links to the Home Pages of Burrow Farm Gardens, the Beth Chatto Garden and East Lambrook Manor Gardens.
